WHY ST. JOACHIM?
Rigorous academics fuel our children, and our smaller school size allows our teachers to teach to each student’s maximum potential. Teachers are afforded the opportunity to know each individual so that every child is provided with an individuated approach to learning.

A CATHOLIC EDUCATION?
“We began at St. Joachim eight years ago when our oldest daughter Lizzy was in TK. Lizzy is now in 6th grade, Ceci is in 4th grade, Monica is in 2nd grade and Brendan will join his sisters next year in TK. The St. Joachim community of administrators, teachers, and families have been an integral part of our children’s individual growth and development by fostering enduring values of faith, hope, and love to our children. The environment at St. Joachim is welcoming, familiar and supportive. Weekly mass serves as a regular reminder of God’s central role in our lives. In addition, the larger community of families at St. Joachim are reinforcing examples to our children about how to live our lives with strong values and convictions. St. Joachim has helped me to be a better parent in the ways that matter the most… in teaching my children to know, love and serve God” – Ball Family
“Moving from Chicago 2 years ago and being new to the Newport Beach area, we looked for a school that would ignite our daughters desire to learn, had inspiring and dedicated teachers/leadership but also provided a platform to deepen their Catholic faith. Our children also wanted a school that had a strong sense of school spirit and plenty of extracurricular activities to be involved in. We found St Joachim to have a warm, inviting instant sense of community, and truly an extension of family. We have been blessed with the most amazing teachers here at St. Joachim. We have watched our children grow academically, become leaders, gain confidence, develop wonderful friendships and deepen their faith as well. Sending our children to St Joachim is one of the best decisions we have made for our children. The teachers here truly care about the success of the students, fuel their quest for knowledge, are wonderfully supportive and engage them them in the learning process. They truly work to inspire and push them to be the best that they can be” – Switz Family
“St. Joachim Catholic School is where my children feel safe, welcomed and loved. St. Joachim students, teachers, staff and parents are an extension of our family. Our children are growing to understand the roots of their faith and their responsibilities as Christians. St. Joachim Catholic School offers a faith-filled, highly academic education that is committed to the development of the whole student. My children have the opportunity to expand their knowledge, explore their passions, create community, strengthen their sense of self and come to know God all in one place. As a family we are so glad we made the choice to send our children to St. Joachim. God has blessed us with a beautiful community” – Garcia Family
SUPPORT OUR SJS COMMUNITY
Dear St. Joachim Families,
These are unprecedented times we are living in. Many families are finding themselves in tough situations because of furloughed jobs, layoffs, or lack of daycare. We, as a school community, are hoping to support the employees and families of St. Joachim who may need help. Please consider donating to this fund, which will help pay for rent, food, and living expenses for the families and staff affected by the Coronavirus pandemic. We are all facing financial uncertainty, but if you are in a position to give even just a little, it could make a huge difference for someone in our own backyard.
