Third Grade: Curiosity, Creativity, and Growth
Third Grade continues to be filled with curiosity, creativity, and joyful learning. In Science, students explored the States of Matter and became detectives as they solved the mystery of who liquified the atoms, while Social Studies sparked excitement through a new chapter on Early Exploration. In Math, students continue strengthening their multiplication fact mastery and building on that foundation to learn division through engaging strategies such as fact songs, number bonds, and equal groups. Religion has been a highlight as students proudly displayed their Saint Cereal Boxes at Open House, where each student researched and designed a project based on a saint intentionally chosen to reflect their personality, interests, and goals. In ELA, students wrapped up their first novel study of Charlotte’s Web with a special class celebration and now eagerly look forward to beginning The Chocolate Touch. Third Grade has been filled with laughter, connection, and hard work, making this year a joyful and meaningful experience.

Spanish K through 8: Language, Culture, and Discovery
Spanish classes have been buzzing with learning and excitement across grade levels. Lower grade students are exploring winter themes while learning the alphabet, food, and clothing through games, songs, and hands on crafts. Students in Grades 4 through 7 are preparing for virtual trips to Costa Rica, Chile, Panama, and Bolivia, discovering culture, geography, and traditions across the Spanish speaking world. Our 8th Graders continue building strong language foundations as they strengthen their verb conjugation skills through engaging and interactive activities.
